Job summary

MacLeod Cares Surf Lodge Nursing Home in Lockeport, Nova Scotia is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for Residents. You will help ensure comfort and dignity in daily living within a close-knit community.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety practices. Prior cleaning experience in a nursing setting is an asset, and a vulnerable sector check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience (in a nursing home is an asset, not required).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English in order to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team.
• WHMIS Certification.
• A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check.
