Job summary

RBC is seeking a Product Owner to drive strategic initiatives across Global Rates Cash and Derivatives trading platforms. You will lead QA teams, partner with business stakeholders, and balance priorities across regions to deliver end-to-end, revenue-driving solutions.

The role requires deep capital markets knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will influence product direction in a fast-paced environment and report to the Capital Markets team in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience with 4+ years of product ownership
• Deep expertise in Capital Markets and electronic trading flows
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with attention to detail
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills across matrix organizations
• Proven leadership to motivate teams and manage performance
• Proficiency with enterprise tools including JIRA, Collaborate, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end solutions and inform estimates
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize goals and balance regional priorities
• Prioritize workload based on market intelligence and risk/vis compliance
• Maintain deep understanding of trading applications and explain functionality
• Act as proxy for users to define requirements for Global Cash and Derivatives
• Manage Rates QA team and align QA scope with risk and release priorities
