Randstad Canada is expanding in Nova Scotia’s Halifax area, seeking a Logistic Site Assistant to join a world-class logistics team. This entry-level role supports site administration, HR processes and site operations while upholding our core values of solidarity and operational excellence.

You will assist in managing employee entry-exit admin, supplier invoices, budget tracking and safety compliance, with opportunities for growth within the logistics administration department.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • 3PL warehouse experience in a high-volume environment is mandatory.
  • Management experience and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Well-developed health and safety knowledge at work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Site Manager with administrative tasks and action plan follow-up.
  • Handle administrative procedures and advise employees.
  • Welcome visitors, answer calls, and liaise with headquarters.
  • Process site orders, verify invoices and manage purchases.
  • Support budget preparation and forecast tracking.
  • Monitor Quality, Safety, Security and Environmental commitments; ensure GxP/5S compliance.
  • Oversee daily HR activities and adherence to HR procedures.
  • Contribute to performance reporting and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site audits.
  • Prepare for audits in line with site certifications.

A 3PL company specializing in logistics is looking for a Logistic Site Assistant. This world-renowned company is setting up in Nova Scotia in the Halifax area and is looking to build the best team. As a Logistic Site Assistant, you will provide support on the various administrative procedures related to the day-to-day management of a logistic warehouse. You take care of the administrative management of the entry and exit of employees while playing an active role in the development of a good working climate. This is an entry level position with opportunities for advancement within the logistic administration department.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and committed to continuous improvement, showing a willing attitude even in difficult situations and with excellent listening and communication skills.
