Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation is required.
• Experience range is 7 months to less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
• Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
• Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and improve productivity and quality.
• Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units.
• Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs efficiently.
• Estimate materials and labour for production and projects.
• Prepare and maintain progress and other reports.
• Coordinate, assign and review work.
• Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices.
• Knowledge of highway trucking rules and regulations.
• Process and transmit information to coordinate vehicle operators using dispatching equipment.
• Respond to urgent calls from individuals in life threatening situations.

• Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices

• Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
