  • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to improve inbound planning and material flow.
  • Implement and manage transportation management systems (TMS) and tracking tools to provide real-time shipment visibility.
  • Proactively manage delays, customs holds, damages, and freight discrepancies to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure prompt corrective actions and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop logistics personnel where applicable.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, logistics technologies, and global supply chain best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive logistics or supply chain experience, with significant expertise in international freight and North American imports.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations, trade compliance, and cross-border logistics.
  • Proven success negotiating transportation contracts and managing logistics vendors.
