Job summary

A logistics management company is seeking an experienced individual to optimize supply chains and improve profitability in a hybrid role based in Cambridge, ON. Applicants should have a degree or diploma in a related field, proven logistics sales experience, and a strong command of MercuryGate TMS. Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience training and developing others is a strong asset.
  • Proven logistics sales and negotiation experience required.
  • Hands-on experience with MercuryGate TMS required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office skills needed.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (HTA, MTO, ITAR, FMCSR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and redesign customer supply chains based on volume shifts and seasonal demand.
  • Optimize routing, equipment utilization, and cost control.
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve logistics solutions.
  • Develop and manage full-cycle customer pricing scenarios.
  • Support contract management and customer expansion.
  • Manage freight claims with carriers and customers.
  • Create and monitor KPIs and performance metrics.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Analyze and redesign customer supply chains based on volume shifts and seasonal demand
  • Optimize routing, equipment utilization, and cost control
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve logistics solutions
  • Develop and manage full-cycle customer pricing scenarios
  • Support contract management, customer expansion, and ongoing relationships
  • Manage freight claims with carriers and customers
  • Maintain and optimize rates, processes, and reporting within a TMS
  • Create and monitor KPIs, standardized reporting, and performance metrics
  • Train and mentor internal team members and external customers
  • Drive continuous improvement across operations, systems, and communication
  • Build proactive, trusted relationships through problem-solving and collaboration
