Job summary

Sollum Technologies, a leader in AI-powered horticultural lighting, is seeking a Logistics, Transportation & Customs Specialist in Canada. You will coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, manage customs compliance, and support procurement activities while acting as a back-up for the Supply Chain Specialist.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in international logistics, strong Incoterms knowledge, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

3–5 years of international logistics, freight forwarding, and customs experience.
Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international customs clearance processes.
Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in French and English for daily carrier and partner interactions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for domestic and international movements.
Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance between Sollum sites, CM's and 3PLs.
Negotiate freight charges and optimize routing for cost and transit time.
Track shipments, identify delays, and develop corrective action plans.
Oversee returns logistics and equipment replacements with the tech support team.
Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers and track POs.
Back-up for Supply Chain Specialist during vacations; manage day-to-day workflows.
Maintain SAP ByDesign logistics data and item master data.
Collaborate with Project Management, Finance, and Sales Ops for freight visibility.
