Job summary

Teknion in Toronto seeks a Logistics Coordinator to support the Consolidation and Logistics team and manufacturing plants. You will liaise with the Quebec consolidation centre to ensure consistent logistics practices and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–10 years’ experience in a manufacturing logistics environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Google Office, MS Word/Excel, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics Management/Planning required.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Teknion’s operations and products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the logistics operations team.
• Load-plan, maintain quality standards, manage packaging and claims issues.
• Inspect items arriving at the Consolidation centre and advise on damages or issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturing locations and Quebec centre to replace lost/damaged product as needed.
• Ensure internal control systems are in place and functioning.
• Support labeling and transportation pricing requests for Teknion plants.
• Develop positive relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Analyze reports to support business development and growth.
• Collaborate with Quebec facility to align logistics practices and systems.
