Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean and air freight quotes, vessel bookings, transloads, local delivery, and shipment scheduling with global vendors.
• Monitor FCL and LCL shipments and update logistics tracking tools.
• Prepare, verify, and submit import documentation and customs clearance packages for US/Canada shipments.
• Manage shipment data, invoicing, and records within Epicor Prophet 21; verify invoices.
• Investigate shipment discrepancies and support trade compliance efforts.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain standard operating procedures.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll coordinate ocean and air freight quotes, vessel bookings, transloads, local delivery, and shipment scheduling with global vendors.
• You’ll monitor FCL and LCL shipments, update logistics tracking tools, and communicate shipment status and exceptions to internal teams and warehouse partners.
• You’ll prepare, verify, and submit import documentation, ISFs, customs clearance packages, and final shipping documentation for U.S. and Canadian shipments.
• You’ll manage shipment information, invoicing, and operational records within Epicor Prophet 21 while verifying freight and brokerage invoices.
• You’ll investigate shipment discrepancies, support non-conformance resolution, and help monitor trade compliance requirements including ADD/CVD cases and Canadian TRQ quotas.
• You’ll contribute to process improvements, maintain standard operating procedures, and provide administrative support during peak periods.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of North American ocean import experience, with a strong focus on FCL shipments. Exposure to air freight and South American imports is considered an asset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to think strategically while managing detailed operational tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with logistics operations, billing, documentation, and customs coordination in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is considered an asset.
• High attention to detail, integrity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Some post-secondary education is preferred. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
