Job summary

MERE HR & Consulting is seeking a seasoned Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s North American transportation network in London, Ontario. You will manage day-to-day brokerage operations, coordinate shipments, secure carrier capacity, and provide competitive pricing for truckload shipments across Canada and the United States.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics or transportation, brokerage experience is a plus, solid knowledge of Canadian/US freight lanes, and strong negotiation,

• Proven brokerage experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and US freight lanes.
• Experience with spot market pricing is an asset.
• Ability to build carrier relationships and secure capacity quickly.

• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

The logistics division specializes in coordinating logistics solutions across Canada and the United States, leveraging strong carrier relationships and market knowledge to provide flexible and reliable transportation solutions. The team prides itself on being solution-focused, responsive, and highly knowledgeable of market conditions and freight lanes across North America.

To support continued growth, we are currently seeking a seasoned Logistics Coordinator to join the team in London, Ontario.

The Role

The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing day-to-day brokerage operations, coordinating shipments, securing carrier capacity, and providing competitive pricing in a fast-moving freight environment. This role requires a strong understanding of transportation, logistics, freight lanes, and carrier relationships in Canada and United States.

The ideal candidate is a solutions-focused logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced brokerage environment and is comfortable managing multiple shipments while ensuring strong customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage freight shipments across Canada and the United States

Qualifications

• Experience working with spot market pricing and carrier negotiations is a definite asset
• Ability to build carrier relationships and secure capacity quickly

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment
