Job summary

Scotlynn Group in Brant, ON is seeking a transportation Logistics Coordinator to support carrier communications and ensure on-time load pickup and delivery. This onsite role emphasizes organization, clear written and verbal communication, and strong time management.

You will coordinate with carriers, monitor truckload movements, assist the Logistics Account Manager, and perform data entry in the Transportation Management System, contributing to a reliable supply chain.

• Perform data entry accurately, maintaining up-to-date information in the Transportation Management System.
• Develop long-term relationships with drivers by providing excellent customer service.
• Proactively identify and solve issues with Logistics Account Manager.

With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring a transportation Logistics Coordinator at our office in Brant, ON.

This role is for a highly organized person with strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management.

THE ROLE

The Logistics Coordinator will support the Logistics Account Manager through coordinating and monitoring truckload transportation activities by communicating with carriers to ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time - without any involvement in warehousing or inventory management.

This role could also be known as Supply Chain Operations, Shipment Coordination, Logistics Planner or Freight Operations Coordinator.
