Qualifications

• 1 year aviation logistics experience
• Experience operating forklifts (small and large)
• 1 year shipping Dangerous Goods experience
• English fluency required; French desirable
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Receiving and shipping aircraft/engine material and tooling per procedures
• Ship/receive engines and engine modules including loading, unloading and verification
• Transport material within the facility
• Inventory and stock keeping of consumables
• Input data into electronic data processing systems
• Coordinate with service providers as required
• Recognize airworthiness certificates and apply regulatory requirements
• All other duties as assigned or required

Tasks

As the Logistics Specialist, you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:

• Receiving and Shipping of aircraft/engine material and tooling as per described procedures
• Execute Engine and Engine Module shipping and receiving processes including loading, off-loading and verification processes
• Transportation of aircraft/engine material, Engines and Engine Modules withing the facility
• Physical handling of material, incl. opening packages and performing the packaging process
• Inventory and stock keeping of consumable items required in production
• Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur
• Input data in electronic data processing systems
• Coordinate with service providers as required
• Recognize significance of required airworthiness certificates for aircraft material and properly applying associated regulatory requirements

Requirements
