Job summary

Pomerleau in the Quebec City region is seeking a Light Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to oversee the on‑road vehicle fleet across Canada. You will collaborate with vehicle users, regional coordinators and maintenance teams to ensure timely deliveries and fleet utilization.

Ideal candidates have a DEC in logistics or related field, 5+ years in fleet/asset management, and bilingual French/English skills. Hybrid work options are available, with strong growth opportunities.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of vehicles to users within required timeframes.
• Ensure vehicle conformity before delivery to users.
• Coordinate transfers of light vehicles between job sites and logistics centers across Canada.
• Assign tasks to subcontractors or internal teams and follow up to ensure schedule compliance.
• Collaborate in developing acquisition and disposal strategies for equipment under responsibility.
• Ensure continuous fleet turnover by maximizing fleet utilization on job sites.
• Write purchase orders and verify invoices for purchases.
• Develop a national network of suppliers.

As Light Vehicle Fleet Coordinator within Pomerleau's logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the company's on-road vehicle fleet. You will have the opportunity to work closely with vehicle users, regional coordinators as well as the human resources, administrative and maintenance management teams.

What you will do

• To be able to deliver vehicles that meet users' needs within the required timeframes, either by using our own equipment or by renting vehicles from external suppliers.
• Ensure vehicle conformity before delivery to users;
• Coordinate transfers of light vehicles between job sites and logistics centers across Canada;
• Assign tasks to subcontractors or various internal teams (administration, yards and warehouses, maintenance and transportation) and follow up on requests to ensure compliance with delivery and return schedules for equipment and inventories;
• Collaborate in the development of acquisition and disposal strategies for equipment under his/her responsibility;
• Ensure continuous fleet turnover by maximizing fleet utilization on job sites.
• Write purchase orders and verify invoices for purchases made;
• Develop a national network of suppliers.

This role could be for you if you have

• DEC in logistics/procurement or other training in a field related to asset management/maintenance;
• 5+ years' experience in a similar position;
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
