Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Light Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to lead on-road vehicle fleet coordination within its logistics team. You will collaborate with vehicle users, regional coordinators and HR, administration and maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

The role requires a DEC in logistics or related field, 5+ years' experience, bilingual in French and English, and offers benefits like RRSP matching, hybrid work, stock ownership, and vacation from day one.

Qualifications

• DEC in logistics/procurement or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Extensive experience in light vehicle fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles meeting users' needs within timeframes using own equipment or rented vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle conformity before delivery to users.
• Coordinate transfers of light vehicles across Canada.
• Assign tasks to subcontractors and internal teams to ensure delivery and return schedules.
• Develop acquisition and disposal strategies for equipment.
• Maximise fleet utilization on job sites.
• Write purchase orders and verify invoices.
• Develop a national network of suppliers.
