Job summary

Altis Technology in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, on-site, is seeking a Loan Consultant to help customers navigate important financial decisions and find solutions that fit their needs. You will guide clients from application through closing, promoting loan and protection products with a customer-first mindset.

Work with a collaborative, sales-focused team in a fast-paced environment, building trusted relationships through responsive, knowledgeable service.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first approach.

Your Responsibilities

• Youll promote loan and protection products while identifying solutions that meet customers financial needs.
• Youll manage the end-to-end sales process, supporting customers both in person and virtually from application through closing.
• Youll build trusted customer relationships by providing responsive, knowledgeable and personalized service.
• Youll contribute toward individual and team sales goals in a performance-focused environment.
• Youll complete credit assessments, process payments and support the management of overdue accounts.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience across either sales, customer service, hospitality or retail or similar.
• High school diploma required, with post-secondary education in finance, sales or business considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and contributing toward performance targets.
• Ability to understand customer needs, build trust and recommend appropriate solutions.
• For bilingual positions, strong written and spoken English and French skills are required to support customers across Canada.
