Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator for night shifts in Canada. You will ensure a steady supply of aggregates to production lines, operate loaders and related equipment, and maintain safety standards.

Role requires five years of loader experience and a valid competency card. Starting wage is $26.20/hour, with a raise to $26.85/hour after 3 months and potential bonuses and benefits.

• Recognized training in heavy equipment operation with a valid competency card.
• Minimum of five (5) years of loader operator experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with common sense.
• Strong focus on safety and professionalism.
• Exposure to moving machinery, vibrations, and loud noise in an industrial setting.
• Able to lift/move up to 22 kg (50 lbs).
• Able to stand, reach, climb and maintain balance for extended periods.
• Perform physical tasks in an active work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Supply production lines with aggregates as needed.
• Feed silos and storage areas using heavy equipment.
• Load trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling.
• Transport sand to the heated plate during winter.
• Perform snow removal to maintain safe working conditions.
• Receive aggregate trucks and direct unloading areas for smooth operations.
• Verify received aggregates and move them to storage areas.
• Comply with health and safety procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report any issues.

Job Description

Schedule and Salary:

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

Starting wage: $26.20/h– increase to $26.85/hafter 3 months

Responsibilities:

The Loader Operator is responsible for the continuous supply of raw materials required for production, while ensuring safe and efficient management of aggregates on site.

Specifically, the role includes:

• Supplying production lines with aggregates based on operational needs
• Feeding silos and storage areas using heavy equipment
• Loading trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling
• Transporting sand to the heated plate during the winter period
• Performing snow removal operations during winter to maintain safe working conditions
• Receiving aggregate trucks, directing them to the appropriate unloading areas, and ensuring smooth operations
• Verifying the conformity of received aggregates and moving them to designated storage areas
• Complying with health and safety procedures as well as company quality standards
• Conducting visual inspections of equipment and reporting any anomalies or maintenance needs

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
