Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. in Quebec is seeking hands-on production workers to join our day shift team. You will operate forklifts, clean molds, and help ensure every product meets our high standards.

This is a physically demanding role with lifting up to 50 pounds, safety-first focus, and close collaboration with production staff to meet daily priorities.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Punctual person is really important.
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions.
• Experience as a forklift operator a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean our molds with a pressure washer
• Transport molds with a forklift
• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians,buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
• Be buckled up at all times
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties

Job Description

Day shift :Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Salary : $22.07/hour to $22.62

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
