Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to support production on the night shift in Canada. You will ensure a steady supply of aggregates, load trucks, feed silos, and uphold safe, efficient site operations.

Starting wage is $26.20/hour with an increase to $26.85/hour after 3 months. Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, working in a dynamic North American manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Recognized training in loader operation with a valid competency card.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a loader operator.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong focus on safety and professionalism.
• Industrial setting with exposure to moving machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 22 kg (50 lbs).
• Stand, reach, climb and balance for extended periods.
• Perform physical tasks in an active work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with aggregates based on operational needs.
• Feed silos and storage areas using heavy equipment.
• Load trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling.
• Transport sand to the heated plate during winter.
• Perform snow removal operations during winter.
• Receive aggregate trucks and direct unloading areas.
• Verify the conformity of received aggregates and move them to storage areas.
• Comply with health and safety procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report issues.

Job Description

Schedule and Salary:

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

Starting wage: $26.20/h– increase to $26.85/hafter 3 months

Responsibilities:

The Loader Operator is responsible for the continuous supply of raw materials required for production, while ensuring safe and efficient management of aggregates on site.

Specifically, the role includes:

• Supplying production lines with aggregates based on operational needs
• Feeding silos and storage areas using heavy equipment
• Loading trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling
• Transporting sand to the heated plate during the winter period
• Performing snow removal operations during winter to maintain safe working conditions
• Receiving aggregate trucks, directing them to the appropriate unloading areas, and ensuring smooth operations
• Verifying the conformity of received aggregates and moving them to designated storage areas
• Complying with health and safety procedures as well as company quality standards
• Conducting visual inspections of equipment and reporting any anomalies or maintenance needs

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
