Job summary

Bwalk in Victoria, BC is seeking a hands-on Property/Community Manager who will live on site. You will handle cleaning, maintenance, and resident relations, taking ownership of the site and ensuring smooth daily operations for our communities in View Royal and Langford areas.

The role requires a flexible schedule, evening and weekend work, rent collection, showing suites, inspections, and coordination with contractors, with a 60% rental discount for on-site housing.

Qualifications

• Must live on site with 60% rental discount.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle.
• 2 years customer service experience required.
• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset.
• Computer experience with web-based programs preferred.

• Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands‑on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site
• Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults
• Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites
• Lease and show suites
• Annual suite inspections
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits
• Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work per conditions of the contract
• Assist with snow removal, cleaning, and touch‑up painting as required
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years customer service experience required
• Post-Secondary education in related field is an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Computer experience is required with web based programs preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
• Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
