Otter Co-op is hiring a part-time Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor at Peacock's Perch in Summerland, BC. You will report to the Liquor Store Manager and assist with customer service, transactions, stock, and store maintenance.

The role requires a Serving it Right license, strong communication, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Open availability for mornings, afternoons, and evenings is needed.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience preferred.
• Serving it Right license required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Must be over 19 years of age.
• Must have open availability for varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Balance register drawer at end of shift per procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Promote sales using product knowledge.

Otter Co-op is now hiring for apart-time Liquor Store Associateat our Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perchlocated in Summerland, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full8 hourshift
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Peacock's PerchLiquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
