Job summary

Otter Co-op is seeking a Part-Time Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor at Orchard Plaza in Kamloops, BC. You will report to the Liquor Store Manager and handle customer service, register transactions, and stock management in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Serving it Right license, WSET 1 accreditation, and availability across mornings, afternoons, and late evenings. Join a team aligned with Integrity, Community and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience preferred.
• Serving it Right license required.
• Must be over 19 years of age and able to work mornings, afternoons, and late evenings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Balance register drawer at end of shift per procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries; keep areas clean and organized.
• Use product knowledge to promote sales and contribute to team values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Liquor Store Associateat our Angry Otter Liquor @ Orchard Plazalocated in Kamloops, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the AOL @ Orchard Plaza, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
