Job summary

Earls Financial District is seeking motivated Line Supervisors to join our kitchen leadership team as Coaches in Toronto. Coaches are hands-on leaders who help keep the line moving, support service, maintain our standards and play a key role in developing the people around them.

If you’re an experienced cook ready to take the next step, we’ll help you develop your leadership skills. Prior supervisory experience is not required, as we provide mentorship and training to grow into a kitchen

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience and strong line cook fundamentals.
• Previous leadership experience is an asset, but not required.
• A passion for culinary experiences and a commitment to teamwork and fun.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• An interest in coaching others and growing into a kitchen leadership role.
• A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching and mentorship.
• The ability to legally work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside your kitchen team to keep the line organized, communicate clearly and deliver consistently high-quality food.
• Lead by example with consistent quality control and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Coach and support your team. Share your knowledge, support the development of fellow cooks and build your leadership skills through training and mentorship.
• Use your communication and multitasking skills to respond to challenges and help keep the team moving.
• Bring care and attention to every dish through great execution and an unwavering commitment to quality.
