Pickford & Black

Pickford and Black is a high-volume restaurant located on the waterfront of downtown Halifax. Our Kitchen team strives to use the best of what the Maritimes has to offer to create a delicious menu that incorporates not only amazing fresh seafood, but also farm-fresh local produce, meats, and poultry.

As a Line Cook, You Will

  1. Prepare food and menu items to the highest standard
  2. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  3. Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
  4. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  5. Clean kitchen and work area
  6. Follow all operations policies and procedures
  7. Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere

  3. Flexibility - Our back-of-house staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
