We are seeking a GRILL COOK at BLACK+BLUE, inspired by Chicago steakhouses, featuring a custom-built meat locker and a dynamic atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes safely for a full-service restaurant.
  • Follow proper grilling, frying, sautéing, and chopping techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area.
  • Assist in food prep during off-peak periods.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

Skills & Qualifications

  • FoodSafe certification (asset).
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Experience in high-volume settings.
  • Energetic, positive, team-oriented, and physically capable of standing long periods and lifting moderate weights.
  • Good communication skills and food handling knowledge.
