BCITSA is seeking a part-time Line Cook to support Habitat Pub operations. You will prepare and cook quality items for daily pub service and events, ensuring proper temperatures, labeling, dating, and rotation; clean workspaces and assist with catering take-down.
The role requires FoodSafe Level 1, a related Diploma, and 1–2 years cooking in a high-volume kitchen, with ability to lift 25 lbs and work under pressure.

The salary range represents the minimum and maximum salary for the position. Employees are typically hired between the minimum and mid-point of the salary range.

Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking quality food items efficiently for the daily pub operations, and other events as needed. You work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction. You ensure that all product is stored and prepared at the correct temperatures, is labelled, dated and rotated, and stored according to type. You clean all work areas, equipment and dishes, and dispose of garbage and recycling. You also support the kitchen and take down catering events as needed.
