Job summary

Banff Caribou Properties seeks a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Banff. The role involves prep, cooking, and service for in-house guests and room service, delivering high-quality dishes with creativity and efficiency.

You will set up your station, follow recipes, and maintain cleanliness while supporting timely meal production for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong command of English for understanding instructions and communicating with guests.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up your station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare food items safely, efficiently, and according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure timely production of dishes, including for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout your shift.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow all health and safety policies, reporting hazards or injuries immediately.
• Collaborate with the team to meet guest and business needs.

Join Our Team as a Line Cook!

Are you passionate about creating delicious meals and delivering an exceptional dining experience? Our kitchen team prepares a wide variety of dishes for both our in-house restaurant guests and hotel room service. As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to hundreds of guests each day, bringing creativity, quality, and efficiency to every dish.
