We are seeking an Auto Adjuster to join our team, providing stationary telephone adjusting services focused on quality and customer service. The regions serviced include Canada and the United States.

Aviva values flexibility and teamwork; hence, this role will be hybrid—combining remote and onsite work.

Interested in handling claims for Lifestyle products such as collector cars, motor homes (RVs), and snowmobiles? Want to help us promote Aviva Specialty claims and deliver exceptional customer experiences? If so, we want you on our team!

What you'll do:

  • Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value, negotiate, and settle claims accordingly.
  • Manage an active pending of Lifestyle Auto claims.
  • Advise and counsel customers on Specialty product knowledge, providing timely and outstanding service.
  • Operate within your designated authority, making independent decisions.
  • Maintain detailed file records following all protocols.
  • Participate in projects and provide feedback to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with other regional claims teams.

What you'll bring:

  • 1-2 years of claims adjusting experience, property and/or auto.
  • A passion for Lifestyle claims.

Assets include:

  • Completion or ongoing pursuit of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP / FCIP).
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • Experience handling claims for specialty products including travel trailers, watercraft, and seasonal dwellings.
