Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is actively seeking a Licensed Service Technician to join the team at 401 Dixie Volkswagen in Ontario. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and warranty-related work while coordinating with service advisors to ensure customers receive quality service.

We're seeking candidates with strong technical repair skills, a valid 310S and G license, and dealership experience. Growth opportunities and a professional work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid 310S license.
• Valid G license.
• Dealership and brand knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong aptitude for technical repairs.
• Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance services following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines as assigned.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify malfunctions and perform the repair.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Stay up to date on latest industry trends, vehicle technology, and repair techniques.
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
