Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is seeking a Licensed Service Technician to join the team at 401 Dixie Nissan in Canada. This opportunity offers growth in a leading automotive group renowned for excellence, integrity and innovation.

The role pays $34-$40 per hour with responsibilities including repairs, diagnostics, and collaboration with service advisors. Applicants should have 3+ years in a fast-paced shop, a valid 310S license and a G license, plus a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a fast-paced environment plus a valid 310S license.
  • Valid G license.
  • Dealership and brand knowledge are beneficial.
  • Strong aptitude for technical repairs.
  • Knowledge of latest automotive technology and advancements.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance services following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines as assigned.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify malfunctions and perform the repair.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
  • Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
  • Stay sharp and up to date on latest industry trends, vehicle technology, and repair techniques.
  • Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
