Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is hiring a Licensed Automotive Technician for Barrie Volkswagen in Barrie, Ontario.

We offer a $3,000 signing bonus and pay rates of $38-$41 per hour (flat rate). Responsibilities include repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines, with emphasis on quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Experienced technicians with 3+ years in a fast-paced environment and a valid 310S license.
• G license required.
• Dealership and brand-specific knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong aptitude for technical repairs and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems.
• Communicate repair recommendations with service advisors and customers.
• Ensure warranty eligibility is reviewed before warranty work.
• Complete repair orders accurately and promptly.

Pay Rate: $38-41/Hour (flat rate)

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance services following industrystandards and manufacturer guidelines as assigned.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify anymalfunctions and perform the repair.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repairrecommendations to customers.
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performingwarranty repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service workis required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Stay sharp and up to date on latest industry trends, vehicletechnology, and repair techniques
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Technicians with 3+ years in a fast-paced environmentand a valid 310S license
• Valid G license
• Dealership and brand specific knowledge are beneficial.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
