Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies in Barrie, ON is actively seeking a Licensed Service Technician to join Barrie Volkswagen. The role offers a pay rate of $38-41 per hour (flat rate) and focuses on repairs, diagnostics, and customer communication.

You will perform inspections, use advanced diagnostic equipment, ensure warranty qualifications, and stay current with industry trends. We value quality workmanship, attention to detail, and clear collaboration with service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a technician in a fast-paced shop.
• Valid 310S license.
• Valid G license.
• Brand knowledge is a plus.
• Strong aptitude for technical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations.
• Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage prior to repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional work is required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and vehicle technology.
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Stay sharp and up to date on latest industry trends, vehicletechnology, and repair techniques
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Technicians with 3+ years in a fast-paced environmentand a valid 310S license
• Valid G license
• Dealership and brand specific knowledge are beneficial.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
