The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN practices to full scope, applying professional nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills to support safe care and positive health outcomes. The role is committed to providing person-centred, culturally safe, and inclusive care that respects the diverse backgrounds, experiences, values, and needs of patients/residents and families. Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) of adult acute experience is required. A recent successful preceptorship in orthopaedic/surgical may be considered (within the last 2 years).Please note: Number of hours per shift and shifts per cycle is for information purposes only.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of recent adult acute orthopaedic and/or surgical nursing experience within the past year. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in an acute care setting. Excellent patient assessment, prioritization, and organizational skills. Proficiency with inpatient Connect Care documentation and workflows. Successful completion of CLHA courses in administering medications via CVC, PICC, and IVAD, and administering parenteral nutrition.
