Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Fredericton, New Brunswick is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our team. We offer competitive hourly wages, a $1000 sign-on bonus, boot and tool allowances, and year-round work in a supportive shop environment.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs while adhering to safety standards and collaborating with teammates to deliver reliable service across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers and shop equipment.
• Experience with tankers/trucks/dry vans/refer is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with safety standards.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Complete electronic work orders and keep the workspace clean.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts clearly.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual inspections.
• Stay current with training and development opportunities.

Positions Available

Licensed Mechanics

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
