Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton, NB is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our team. We offer a $1000 sign-on bonus, competitive hourly wages with premiums and safety bonuses, tool and safety boot allowances, and a full suite of health and retirement benefits.

You’ll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs, participate in safety meetings, and maintain electronic work orders. Apprenticeship financial assistance and career advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required; B620 inspector is an asset but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.

Licensed Mechanics

As part of our team, you’ll:

What You Bring to the Table

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
