Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking Owner Operators to join our Moncton, NB and Nova Scotia routes. You’ll deliver domestic loads across the Maritimes and Newfoundland, using sleeper-cab tractors, with live ferry crossings and consistent resets at home.

The role rewards safety bonuses, incentives, and a supportive team environment. Qualified drivers will operate 2021+ sleeper cabs, maintain a clean record, and participate in our comprehensive benefits and licensing allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Class 1 driving experience with a clean abstract.
• Must pass a road test and drug test.
• Ability to operate sleeper cab tractor-trailers 2021 or newer and in common Maritimes routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver domestic loads across the Maritimes and Newfoundland island.
• Cross via Newfoundland ferry with live crossing, then return home on reset.
• Maintain safety and compliance, complete required paperwork.

Owner Operators in Moncton, NB / Sydney, NS / Dartmouth, NS

We’re currently seeking Domestic/NL Owner Operators to join our team in Moncton, NB, Dartmouth, NS and Sydney, NS!

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Deliver domestic loads across the Maritimes and live cross the Newfound land ferry. Deliver loads across NL for 5 days before live crossing to head home for your reset.

What You Bring to the Table

• Tractor Trailer with a sleeper cab must be 2021 or newer.
• Truck must be White or Red, or the OO must enroll in the Paint/Wrap Program to have it painted/wrapped Red.
• Minimum of 2 years of class 1 driving in CDN/similar climates with a clean abstract.
• Must pass a road test/drug test

Work Schedule

• You’ll begin your 5-day trip picking up loads in Maritimes and heading to Newfound land to live cross the ferry. You will be expected to work your 5-day trip on the island and live cross with a load before heading home for your reset.
• You will receive incentives to cross the ferry and higher mileage/hourly pay while working in Newfoundland.
• There will be Domestic/Shunting loads available if sailings are closed.
