Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton, NB is seeking 3rd/4th year apprentice mechanics to join a world-class team. You’ll perform repairs to safety standards, participate in maintenance meetings, and maintain clean work orders while advancing through an apprenticeship with company support.

We offer a $1000 sign‑on bonus, competitive hourly wages with premiums, boot and tool allowances, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic (3rd or 4th year) or 2 years experience required.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.
