Clayburn Dental in Abbotsford, Canada is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, take X-rays, and manage sterilization and IPAC standards.

The role requires registration or certification with the provincial regulatory body and preferred prior experience. Wages range from $28 to $35 per hour, with a focus on patient care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$28-$35/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
