Clayburn Dental in Abbotsford, BC is looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The role includes preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists and hygienists, taking X-rays, and maintaining infection control to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Education
