Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is actively searching for a Licensed Service Technician to join the team at Barrie Volkswagen in Barrie, Ontario. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $38-41 per hour (flat rate) and requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a fast-paced dealership environment with a valid 310S license and a G license.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per standards, diagnostics, communicating repair needs to customers, and ensuring warranty requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a fast-paced automotive service environment.
• Valid 310S license required.
• Valid G license required.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.

• Perform repairs and maintenance services following industrystandards and manufacturer guidelines as assigned.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify anymalfunctions and perform the repair.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repairrequirements to customers.
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performingwarranty repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service workis required.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Stay sharp and up to date on latest industry trends, vehicletechnology, and repair techniques
• Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
