Kal Tire in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a range of vehicles.

This full-time, permanent role offers a starting wage of $40 per hour and a clear path to becoming a Lead Technician. You will mentor apprentices and work in a safe, well-equipped environment with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with brakes, suspension and wheel alignments.
• Experience in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing and repairs on diverse vehicles.
• Attention to detail and a methodical problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services including brakes, suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor apprentices and support skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a team on vehicles from standard cars to light trucks.
• Identify service opportunities with Sales in partnership.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
