Kal Tire is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join our BC store network, performing routine maintenance to complex diagnostics on a range of vehicles in a dealership-level shop.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal)
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments
• Experience in inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on various vehicles

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
