Kal Tire in Assiniboia, SK, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on a range of vehicles. Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, supporting their skill development.
• Collaborate with a team while servicing standard passenger cars and light trucks.
• Identify mechanical service opportunities in partnership with Sales.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified
• A valid driver’s license.
• Brings a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
