Job summary

Fountain Tire Didsbury is looking for a skilled and Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and complete scheduled maintenance to manufacturer specifications.

We offer market-leading wages ($38 to $42 per hour based on experience) plus a $1,500 signing bonus, comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits, and a retirement savings plan with company matching.

Qualifications

• Must hold Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and ability to service customers.
• Diagnostic specialist with up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and commitment to customer experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving abstract annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
• Perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrications, tune-ups).
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a safe manner.
• Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries.

You will get to:

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
