Ideal candidates hold a valid Licensed/Red Seal and demonstrate strong automotive knowledge, diagnostic capability, and excellent communication with customers. The role offers day shifts with overtime opportunities in a supportive, safety-focused shop

Qualifications

• Must be Licensed/Red Seal in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service.
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
• Perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advise customers and team members on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regular schedule.

You will get to

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
