Job summary

Fraser Valley Regional Library is seeking a part-time Customer Services Assistant 2 for the Tsawwassen Library. You will deliver library programs and community outreach, support virtual events, and assist patrons with information and services.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and the ability to develop programs for children, teens, and adults, using library systems and technology.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Library and Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is required or up to six months on the job.
• Ability to plan, organize and deliver children, teen, adult and literacy programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service within the library and community.
• Deliver library and literacy programs, The Playground, events, tours and group presentations.
• Support Librarian and Library Supervisor in program development and outreach.
