Qualifications

• Library Technician Diploma required.
• Early Childhood Education or related courses considered an asset.
• Two years of recent relevant library experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides information service including reference, readers’ advisory and technology assistance.
• Creates engaging displays to promote library resources and services.
• Handles customer inquiries and complaints across in person, phone, online chat and email.
• Assists with daily cash handling and reconciliations as needed.
• Operates and troubleshoots library equipment and Makerspace tools.
• Supports health and safety procedures and customer experience functions.
