Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a Lean Business/Process Analyst to drive process improvements across our Brampton Distribution Centre. You will model processes, map value streams, and apply Lean Six Sigma to identify opportunities that boost efficiency and performance.

The role is on-site at Brampton, ON, with collaboration across Lean and other teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in process improvement, and familiarity with Agile practices and Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher university degree level.
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification or equivalent would be considered an asset.
• Detail oriented with the ability to think critically and deliver results in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• 2 years of process improvement experience in a professional services organization.
• Knowledge in Agile project management – familiar with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with change management and process adoption.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and model business processes.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles such as FMEA, process mapping, value stream mapping to find optimization opportunities in existing business processes.
• Gather project requirements by working with other members of the Lean team and other stakeholders.
• Perform detailed root cause and data analysis on performance metrics across services.
• Identify areas of possible system improvement to enhance overall business performance, accounting for budgetary concerns and business goals.
• Support implementation of business solutions and carryout necessary practices and processes.
• Oversee the effectiveness of enterprise business processes and performance enterprise systems.
• Govern existing business tools, reports, and applications.
