Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Lead, Virtual Care on a permanent full-time basis. The role offers flexible work location from within the IH region and leads the Digital Health Virtual Care team in planning, implementing, and supporting virtual care applications.

The incumbent will guide staff, coordinate with partners, and manage budgets for DHIP projects while ensuring alignment with IH goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in healthcare information systems.
• Experience in planning, project management, systems implementation and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to Digital Health Virtual Care staff and stakeholders.
• Lead priorities and timelines for virtual care solutions with internal partners.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to implement system changes and standards.
• Develop budgets for Digital Health investments and project support.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
