Job summary

Interior Health Authority seeks an innovative Executive Medical Director, Clinical Informatics to lead technology-enabled care and data-driven clinical decision support across IH. You will partner with CNO, Medical Affairs and HT teams to translate clinician needs into scalable information systems, advancing patient-centred care with standards and safety.

You will drive policy, practice standards, and meaningful use of clinical information systems, while championing Indigenous reconciliation

Qualifications

• MD with full registration and licensure to practice medicine.
• Master's degree in health administration, business admin or clinical informatics.
• 10–15 years of recent, related clinical leadership experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical leadership for technology-enabled clinical information management.
• Translate clinician requirements into useful information systems.
• Design, develop and implement computerized provider order entry and related systems.
• Promote standards, safety, and adoption of health IT across IH.
• Collaborate with CNO, Medical Affairs and HT teams and external partners.
• Advance patient-centred care and outcomes through data-driven initiatives.
