Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a Project Manager II to lead restoration and rebuild projects from estimation through completion. You will ensure safety, profitability, and high-quality outcomes while mentoring teammates and shaping the client experience.

You will scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, manage budgets, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and resources to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager I or equivalent experience in restoration or construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters.
• Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate (Level 2 certification an asset).
• IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of restoration projects from kickoff to completion.
• Scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets for profitability.
• Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources to maintain schedule and safety.
• Engage homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to align expectations and build trust.
• Mentor junior project managers and supervisors to ensure consistency.
• Drive projects with leadership, problem-solving, and commitment to excellence.
